According to research more and more of the global population will be living in urban areas, creating ever bigger and condensed urban spaces. That this can be actually much more sustainable than a rural setup is an interesting thought, and the CABE, the UK based Comission for Architecture and the Built Environment, has launched a program for sustainable cities in the UK.
